About India Cake Fest 2018

India Cake Festival is crafted with the sole intention to promote & explore the opportunities in the bakery industry and helping students & local baker’s branch out to a wider and more appreciative audience. The 2-day event includes competitions/workshops/Conference/Cake Carnival.  Prominent industry chef would judge the competitions. The panel for India Cake Fest consists of industry professionals like Chef Ranveer Brar, Chef Yogesh Utekar, Chef Paul Kinny, Chef Anees Khan and more. The content of the event has been created to benefit the bakers and educate them with the current developments in the baking industry. The event is a unique combination of knowledge and fun carnival. The prime objective is to celebrate cake and celebration is serious business.

• Minimum 2-tier cake design.
• Participants to get their own tools & ingredients.
• Designing to be done on dummy cakes, dummies to be bought by participants.
• Basic ingredients provided by the organizer will be listed in on the website couple of days before the competition.

• Participants to get their own tools & ingredients.
• Plated dessert should be of 2 servings.
• Participants can do fusion of 2 destinations.
• Basic ingredients provided by the organizer will be listed in on the website couple of days before the competition.
• Winners would be judged on basis of plating, taste and explanation of their make.

Homebakers & Individual Participants

Competition - Cake Decoration - (Theme "DESTINATION")

Participants will have to decorate cake based on the theme DESTINATION in a specific period of time. Participants need to get their own Dummy.

College Team

Competition – Classic Plated Dessert – (Theme "DESTINATION")
Participants will be given specific time to make plated dessert denoting the Destination (Country/City) they chose. Team can get own ingredients.


Teams can get their Ingredients.
Participants to get their special tools for decoration. It can be used post approval
Participants to get special ingredient and can only use post approval from the organizer.
Winner will be announced after evaluating points collected in the competition rounds.
Winners will be announced on the same day.
